Use Sinteza as a research aid

Sinteza organizes public-source material and shows where sources agree or differ. It is not a booking service, map, itinerary planner, emergency service, or substitute for checking current official information.

01 · The service

What Sinteza provides

Sinteza lets authenticated users create projects across 12 research spaces, submit supported public URLs and documents, add optional decision context and review generated categories, claims, source positions, timestamps, syntheses, notes, freshness signals, and recent historical weather context, and choose limited sharing features.

The current service supports public videos, social posts, articles, PDFs, and text documents that Sinteza can access without logging in. Captionless videos, private sources, paywalled or login-required material, age-restricted content, and unavailable content may be rejected.

Historical weather is not a forecastSinteza uses recent complete years of NASA POWER data for matching calendar dates. Conditions can differ during your actual trip.
02 · Accounts

Your Sinteza account

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your password and signed-in devices secure. Use a current email address so Supabase email confirmation and account notices can reach you.

You may not access another person’s account, bypass ownership controls, interfere with processing, probe service credentials, automate abusive traffic, or use Sinteza in a way that violates applicable law or another party’s rights.

03 · Sources and content

Only submit material you may use

You keep responsibility for the URLs, documents, notes, and other material you submit. You confirm that the source is public and that you have the rights or permission needed to have it accessed and processed for your personal research.

By submitting material, you authorize Sinteza and the processors described in the Privacy Policy to retrieve and process it only as needed to operate the service, generate your research, enforce limits, and resolve failures.

Sinteza does not claim ownership of third-party videos, articles, posts, documents, images, or transcripts. Publisher names, links, quotations, timestamps, and other attribution are shown to preserve a path back to the original source. Any underlying material remains subject to its publisher’s terms and rights.

Do not submit passwords, API keys, payment-card details, private medical or identity documents, or material that requires Sinteza to bypass access controls.

04 · Sharing

Public Briefs and private viewers

You may publish a traveler-curated public Trip Brief organized with Sinteza. A public Brief is a separate sanitized snapshot: it can include destination context and selected synthesis, but not source identities, source links, evidence, private notes, members, processing details, or the private trip identifier. Anyone with the link can view it, even when search indexing is discouraged.

You are responsible for reviewing the exact public preview before publishing and for content you choose to make public. Do not publish personal information, unlawful or defamatory material, impersonation, or content that violates another party’s rights. Sinteza may remove or disable a public Brief, restrict repeated abuse, or preserve information when legally required.

You may also invite an intended recipient as a private viewer. Viewer access is revocable and does not transfer ownership or permit publishing, deletion, source changes, credit spending, or access to owner-only notes. Forwarded, expired, replayed, revoked, or wrong-email invitations may be rejected.

Use Report this page on a public Brief to identify privacy, rights, abuse, or other concerns. A report does not guarantee removal, and Sinteza may request further information through the published support contact when needed.

05 · AI and travel information

Research can be incomplete or wrong

Sinteza uses automated extraction and AI-assisted synthesis. A source can be misread, a timestamp can be imperfect, separate claims can be grouped incorrectly, or an answer can become outdated. Consensus labels describe the submitted sources; they do not prove that a claim is true.

  • Open the original evidence and source before relying on an important claim.
  • Check official, current sources for entry rules, safety, health, transport disruption, prices, opening hours, legal requirements, and emergencies.
  • Freshness warnings indicate that information may need a current check, but the absence of a warning does not guarantee currency.

Sinteza is not professional legal, medical, safety, financial, immigration, or emergency advice.

06 · Availability

Processing and service changes

Source processing depends on public availability, captions, document formats, third-party providers, quotas, and technical limits. Processing may fail, retry, or require attention. Failed source work releases its reserved Sinteza credit in the current implementation.

Sinteza may change product limits, supported formats, features, models, and providers as the service evolves. Material changes to these terms should be reflected on this page with an updated date.

07 · Billing

Web and native purchases

One-time source-credit packs

Nomad and Pro can add 10 source credits for $5.99 USD once, where credit packs are available. Purchased credits never expire and stay usable after a downgrade or cancellation. Free and Sinteza+ accounts cannot buy packs. Each successfully analyzed source uses 1 credit. Credits are reserved while processing; failed or unusable sources release the reservation. Included credits are consumed first. Purchased credits are account-wide and do not expire, renew automatically, transfer between accounts, or unlock a higher tier’s features. Packs do not increase source, video, or document size limits.

Included credits become available as each use passes 30 days, including with yearly billing. Billing dates do not reset usage. Upgrading increases the limit; recent included-credit use still counts. Free accounts have 3 lifetime included credits.

Web packs use Stripe; native packs use Apple or Google Play. Your subscription stays managed by its original provider, even if you buy a pack on another platform. A completed payment must be verified before credits are delivered. Pending payments do not grant credits. The checkout shows the total price, currency, taxes, and applicable terms.

For a missing purchase, sign in to the original Sinteza account and refresh the balance or retry confirmation. Do not buy again to fix a missing balance. Use purchase support for refunds, duplicates, or disputes. Refunds and disputes affect the remaining credits from that purchase; they do not consume unrelated included credits or create a new charge. Nothing in these terms limits applicable consumer rights.

Purchased balances survive subscription changes and cancellation. Deleting a project does not refund successful analyses. Deleting your account permanently closes its wallet and removes access to unused credits; contact support about any purchase issue before deleting. Minimal payment and duplicate-prevention records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

Web subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Native-app purchases are processed through Apple or Google when offered in those stores. The price, renewal details, taxes, cancellation method, and any applicable refund path are the terms presented by the relevant checkout or app store at purchase.

Cancel a web subscription through Sinteza’s Stripe billing controls. Cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings and a Google Play subscription in Google Play Subscriptions. Uninstalling Sinteza or deleting your Sinteza account does not cancel a subscription managed by an app store.

Sinteza records the entitlement and billing identifiers needed to apply the correct plan and source credits. Sinteza does not operate an advertising-funded service and does not sell personal data.

The Pro plan may be used as a research aid in paid research or advisory work. A client-ready Brief is a source-free summary prepared by the account holder; it does not transfer third-party rights, establish that a source endorses the account holder or client, or replace the account holder’s responsibility to review the Brief and verify time-sensitive details before sharing it.

08 · Ending use

Deleting research and accounts

You can stop using Sinteza at any time. Account & settings can permanently delete all research or, after two confirmations, delete the authentication account and associated Sinteza data.

Deleting an owner account removes its public publications, invitations, and viewer access. Deleting a viewer account removes that membership without deleting the owner’s project. See the canonical Delete account page for the verified steps and subscription responsibilities.

09 · Disclaimers

Service provided as available

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sinteza is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without a promise that every source can be processed, every result is accurate, or the service will always be uninterrupted. Mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live are not excluded.

You remain responsible for decisions based on your research, including purchases, bookings, business experiments, technology changes, timing, safety checks, and compliance with applicable rules.
